This place was firstly created by a French and Lao couple to be the “Home Away From Home” for all travelers. It is located in an off-the-beaten-track corner of Laos. Accommodation is no-frills, but all rooms bring modern touches such as air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, some with bathtubs. Apart from that, there is a good-sized swimming pool for cooling down in the tropical heat. The spectacular view of the sun setting over the Mekong river alone is really adding an extra point for their onsite restaurant. Like the origin of the idea, Senesothxuen Hotel is a good place to get a sense of the unique hospitality of Don Khong people.
